Don't breed or buy while    homeless pets die!

ARC is always in need of dedicated volunteers!  We need volunteers in almost every aspect of running our shelter.  The best way to get involved with helping neglected and abused homeless animals at ARC is to come to ARC's monthly meetings.  Details about these meetings can be found at our "Events" page.

Here are just some of the areas ARC needs volunteers for:

baking, event sales, event set-up, cleaning/laundry, grant writing, maintenance/construction, kitten fostering, cat colony maintenance and socialization, dog walking, dog grooming, lawn care, snow shoveling, etc.

Fundraising Volunteers:

If you can volunteer monthly or only occasionally, helping with one or more of fundraising events may be for you!  You can make a difference in the lives of animals by helping ARC raise money for the care of our animals at one of our monthly fundraisers.  If this may interest you, come to our monthly meeting to learn more about our upcoming events.  If you cannot make the meeting, please contact Cathy@nokillarc.org 570-441-6543 to see how you can help.  Just tell her your interests, skills, and availability and she'll give you options on how you can make a difference!

Animal Care Volunteers:

If you are interested in volunteering with the care of our animals, due to insurance, youMUST be 18 yrs of age.   Luckily, we do get interest in volunteering with our animals, of course, that's the best part! Also, although we do get a lot of interest in the animal care aspect, due to training time, we can only accept animal care volunteers who are willing to make a WEEKLY commitment.   If you are willing to be one of our dedicated care givers, please  email Mary at Mary@nokillarc.org

Maintenence Volunteers:

If you have light or skilled maintenance skills and would like to help out with keeping our animals in the best possible housing, please call or email Bill at 570-204-7199 or billevert@live.com
